The brief included the design of a desk for an office space. The first proposal uses cork as the predominant material for the desk.  The flow of the design integrates with the physical space.  The cork is used in thin layers to cover table tops with a cork veneer top over a plywood and cardboard frame.

The second proposal suggests a continuous glass desk constructed from square aluminium pipes and sharp tinted-glass surface. The top glass surface is clear to allow light to pass through. The aluminium pipes continue all the way to the ceiling to support the light fittings above the desk.
