We were appointed to work on the planning resubmission for eleven flats in a three floor new development in Surbiton and later for the interior design of the showflats. The complex consists of five one bedroom and six two bedrooms apartments.

We kept all the flexibility of the interior in order to be later customised by the user. Walls and ceilings were painted in white shades throughout each apartment, while bathrooms are lined with grey tiles. The surfaces are painted white to keep the space neutral, bright and clean and celebrate the purity of the space. Hints of colours were used on tables, bedding and cushions to bring a touch of warmth to the otherwise stark interior.

Light was maximised inside the properties where possible including the addition of large sky lights to the top floor to bring natural light through the house. On the same level the elevator shaft was concealed with brick cladding and marble surface on the top, to be used as a counter and a breakfast bar.
